Hi, Assalamualaikum...
Today marks day 45 of life for my little girl Nur Faizura Humairah, which means my confinement period has finally over. Alhamdulillah.
Confinement period this time was really unique & special because I don't really 'confine' myself. Yang beriya ber'confine' adalah Maira.
Let me tell you why...
We got discharged from the hospital (HTAR) after 48 hours of surgery,Alhamdulillah. As we came home, few days later Maira dah kene jaundis. There we go, selang 2 hari kami kene ke klinik kesihatan untuk check bilirubin level dia.
Belum pun sempat Maira nak fully recover from the jaundis, ther goes Hakeemy with his fever & protein urea of 4+, we seek advise from KK Pandamaran and the docter issued us antibiotic as per the letter given by Dr. Lai (Paeds Nephro in Hospital Selayang). After 2 days, the fever has resolved, but.... he's started to have water retention on his belly and having a very-very-very minimal urine output. As a mother who has been monitoring his health condition all this while, ingat tak risau ke???
Made a call to Wad 8B hospital Selayang on Monday, January 19, 2016 and the docter advise to immediately bring him to the renal clinic on Tuesday itself. So, ayah had to take another leave and brought him there. They insist for an admission but ayah trying his luck by refusing & explaining his condition that time (tempat kerja baru with no annual leave & mummy in confinement). Docter agreed that time tapi bersyarat, where they insist for a blood test and if the result were not good, no matter what an immediate admission is a must. 6.40pm the same day, we received a call from the ward insisting Hakeemy for admission.
We sent him, and who do you think will gonna stay in hospital to look after my boy? the best we could think of so far, i took the risk for my son. Leaving maira & jeemy at home with atok (my mother), while still in confinement, and waited Hakeemy at the hospital for about 5 days. At this point of time, I was feeling lucky & grateful enough for having such an understanding, loving & caring husband & families all around me
We got discharged from the ward on Sunday, and on the same day as we reached home, Jeemy start to have a spike on his temperature. Ya Allah. Tuhan saja yang tahu how my feeling was that time. Penat dan stress. And it has been for 8 days with 3 medical consultations. phewh!!
OK, done with Jeemy. I thought everything is over. Oh no, not yet! Hakeemy start to have fever again and I started to lose my patient. Immediately call the nearby pharmacy and get the Cefuroxime Axetil 250mg stock & start on him immediately. The first month of my confinement was well spent on my children, really.
As everything start to feel calm. Husband got an offer of job in Pasir Gudang of which the pays are higher. And he just wanted to give it a try. Alhamdulilah, mungkin ini rezeki yang Allah janjikan untuk Humairah. And husband seems happy with his new job. So the balance of my confinement days were busy handling my childrens & polishing up my survival skills. huhu... That is why I told you, my confinement this time was not really a confinement for me, it's a confinement for Humaira actually. hehe...
Alhamdulillah, despite all the tests, Allah berikan kesihatan yang baik & sempurna walaupun luka pembedahan belum lagi pulih sepenuhnya dah kene berulang kesana-kemari. Apa-apa pun semoga keluarga kecil kami sentiasa berada di bawah lindungan rahmat Allah s.w.t. dan sentiasa gembira & di lindungi Allah s.w.t. Amiinn...
Sampai sini dulu perkongsian untuk kali ini ye, wasalam...
Regards,
mummy-monster.
